So I set my TIVO to see Green Day on SNL, and this was a pleasent suprise. Will Ferrell hosted and of course you knew that the Joepardy bit was coming. Ferrell and Derrell Hammond’s chemistry is ever more perfect than Rubin and Sims.
This has been the most considtent segment SNL have done for the last 15 years. The cameo’s here are knee-slappers with Tom Hanks stealing the show.
This is the new video from Rancid, “Last One To Die“. The new album comes out on June 2nd. I loved the last album even though it did not get a lot of attention. I think it will be one of the best records of the year. MAYBE EVEN BETTER THAN GREEN DAY. OK maybe I just got a little too wound up ,but it might be.
While there is so much much I am excited about in my world of music, like new Green Day and Rancid records; more Wednesday Powerhouse shows that I am stoked for. i can’t stop re-living how cool the last couple weeks have been her at KWOD 106.5
Sims and I with Brian from Silversun Pickups. sooooo cool!!!
Derek and I with winners and Death Cab For Cutie at soundcheck.
With Ida Maria on the patio @ Powerhouse. Norwegians like Mexican beer.
This really is the creepiest video I have witnessed in a long time. It will stick with you I promise. If you hate horror films you may not want to watch.
Swine flu.. Now in Fair Oaks.. I feel so sorry for those kids. Brave little guys having to do interviews and all. I have many friends I grew up with who went to St. Mel’s, so it did kinda shock me and hit home when I heard that three St Mel’s kids tested positive for the swine flu
Jacoby of Papa Roach discusses the track Lifeline and talk about being homeless, the economy, giving back to Sacramento, as well aswriting more socially aware music.
